The Easy One Button Approach

Adding Budget Items and Goals is as easy as clicking a button. There's no complicated setup process, you simply add each item in your budget by clicking the add budget item button and filling in a few simple details.

Automatic Budget Buddy

Money Tree will remind you with a small bubble in your system tray (Windows Users Only) when a bill is due. You can simply click the bubble and the application will prompt you to put in the amount you paid. This will allow you to easily track your spending.

Colors Are Better

Money Tree was designed to be colorful. Most other financial applications are just plain boring, requiring you to read and memorize text to identify which each little number means. Money Tree takes a different approach, using colors to allow you to easily identify what numbers mean. This reduces the amount of tedious effort required to decipher your budget.

Budget Statistics And Tracking

It's one thing to have a budget, it's another thing to actually stick to it, and it's an entirely different thing to make sure you head in the right direction. Money Tree makes these things quick by giving you easy to view statistics. You can see your current spending allocation versus income and track your previous months' actual spending versus planned spending in a convenient line graph.

Fixed Cost Goals

Having goals is one of the best things you can do with your budget. Everyone should save money, Money Tree has a Savings Goal enabled by default. You can add other goals by simply adding how much you want to save and the timeframe you want to do it in. Goals are automatically added to your budget so you can keep track of your progress.

Choose an Appearance

There's many different preferences when it comes to appearance. Money Tree was designed to be friendly, but some people don't always like bright colors, therefore version 2.0 will come with several other skins for you to be able to choose the appearance that suits you.

Budgeting For The Future

Version 1.0 of Money Tree is specifically designed for month to month budgeting. Version 2.0 will include the ability to schedule future budget items and view your month to month budget in future months. This will allow you to make special adjustments for each month as time goes on.

Printable Budgets and Charts

Keeping a hard copy of your budget has many benefits. Money Tree will be providing full budget and report printing abilities in version 2.0.

Indepth Item Tracking

Track your payment history and in depth information per budget item. You will be able to enter in specific information based on your budget items category, such as loan principle and interest rate. These more indepth statistics will play an even larger role in future versions and add-ons.

Get Out of Debt Calculator

Automatically calculate everything you need to know to get out of debt. This feature will rely on the more advanced features of budget items, but will show you all of your options for getting out of debt.

Online Budget Portability

Store and update your budget online, from your Money Tree software, from your cellphone, or from any other portable device.

Bank Account Integration

Automatically store and classify transactions directly from your online bank acount. This means Money Tree will go out and securely retrieve your recent transactions and let you put them into your budget quickly and easily.
